Catabricks CLI
Download your purchased Catabricks datasets from the terminal. Runs on macOS and Linux without installing Python or uv.
Install
Paste these two lines into your terminal.
curl -fsSL https://catabricks.com/cli/install.sh | sh
export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"
The installer detects your OS and CPU, verifies the downloaded file’s SHA-256, and installs it at ~/.local/bin/catabricks.
Check the installed version.
catabricks --version
Continue with download a purchased file. For installation or startup problems, see troubleshooting in the command reference.
Updates and specific versions
Run the installation command again to update to the latest version. To install a specific version:
curl -fsSL https://catabricks.com/cli/install.sh | sh -s -- --version 0.2.5
Direct downloads
For manual installation, select the archive and checksum for your OS and CPU. See the command reference for verification and extraction steps.
Each download button requests a new S3 download link valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, click the original download button or run the installer again.
